Awards and Achievements
Malika Pukhraj is a well recognized figure in the
sub-continent and at all stages of her career has received
acknowledgements and acclaim, both in Pakistan and India.
She was awarded Pakistan's highest civilian award the Pride of
Performance in 1980. She was invited as a special guest of the
Government of India to commemorate the golden jubilee of the All
India Radio, just to mention a few.

- Recently invited as a guest of Government of India to celebrate
India's Golden jubilee - visited states of Patna and Hyderabad,
was honored with many medals and accolades, 1997.
- Award for her distinguished services in the field of art and
culture - BAAG (Begum Akhtar Academy of Ghazal), 1994 New Delhi India
- Golden Voice Medal - KL Saigal Society of America, December 14,
1994 "was received amidst thunderous applause"
- The Pakistan Hour - Television Program "Mehfil Mehfil" Award,
Washington D.C., 1987
- Best Singer award - Graduate Cultural Association of Pakistan,
1980-81
